Playbills not only have info on the show on the cover--they also usually contain interviews with top stars, directors and playwrights. Some shows, especially Shakespeare and other plays, will include essays by the producers on their authors, histories and design. Even the ads often feature music and movie stars to appeal to the upscale demographics that usually attends the theater.

All Playbills have been carefully stored in a pet-free, smoking-free home. Like new or very good condition, although a few may show signs of aging especially on covers where white parts can yellow slightly and black parts can smear. No tears or missing staples or pages.
