Antique Victorian Apothecary / Medical Instrument Cabinet – England – circa 1900
Beautiful antique wooden cabinet featuring multiple small drawers and a larger storage drawer, mounted on its original stand. This charming piece dates from the late Victorian to early Edwardian period (circa 1880–1910) and is believed to be of English origin.
The cabinet includes six small drawers and one large drawer, all fitted with original wooden knobs. Several drawers retain internal dividers, suggesting the cabinet may have been used to store medical instruments, apothecary supplies, scientific tools, or small collectibles.
A brass name plate engraved “W.W. Humpherson” is mounted on the front, likely identifying the original owner. This adds an interesting historical and personal element to the piece.
The cabinet can be displayed either on its stand or used separately as a tabletop collector’s cabinet.
