Here is a great condition working RED DOT version of the famous NIPPON KOGAKU (NIKON) F made in 1965, serial number 6591004. The red dot before the serial number means the body was modified by Nikon to take the new at the time T and Tn version Photomic metering heads. A MATCHING BUT NON WORKING Tn HEAD IS INCLUDED.

The body is in generally excellent condition and everything works as it should. There is a small wrinkle in one of the shutter curtains which has no effect at all. All shutter speeds sounds accurate, even the slow ones and the self timer works well. The interior is clean. As mentioned earlier the Tn Photomic head meter does not work even with new batteries but is also in great cosmetic condition. There is no corrosion in the battery chamber. The viewfinder is clear apart from some minor dust. Overall a great camera body for use or display.
