SET of 16 Canadian / Canada SILVER Proof Dollars dated 1971 thru 1986, in a CAPITAL PLASTICS holder. EACH dollar contains 0.375 ounces of pure silver, as the composition of EACH dollar is 50% silver and 50% copper. Consequently, there are SIX ounces of SILVER in
TOTAL (0.375 x 16 coins = 6 ounces silver) for these 16 Canadian Dollars. The Canadian SILVER dollars from 1971 to 1980 featured a brilliant, mirrored background with a matte relief, while those dating from 1981 to 1986 had “frosted” devices.
