Fabulous 18/19thC Handcrafted & Engraved Brass Sailor’s Tabacco Tin. (c.1800)

This wonderful nautical relic is in fine fettle and has a good amateur engraving of a 3 masted "ship of the line" to the lid. It’s made entirely in brass with a hinged lipped lid & base which has a serated edge to the back of the interior, this can just either be a decoration representing the sea or its sharp enough to cut something? Overall it measures 5" x 3" x 1.5"H and has a good stong hinge.
