For sale is a vintage Yamaha YTR-739T trumpet, serial 010xxx, in excellent condition. This is one of Yamaha’s early professional models from the late 1970s to early 1980s and features a first-valve slide trigger. These models were produced just before the Bobby Shew signature series and stand out because Yamaha worked closely with the legendary trumpet designer Renold Schilke during that era to refine and improve their instruments. Drawing clear inspiration from his Schilke's iconic B-series, the YTR-739T delivers many of the same desirable qualities including lightweight construction, rich tone, and responsive playability at a much more affordable price. This trumpet is in excellent condition with with virtually no cosmetic issues and minimal signs of playing wear. The silver plating is nearly perfect, and the valves and slides are smooth and fast. Includes the original Yamaha hard case in good condition.
