Antique Gorham Co. Silver Soldered 3pc Tea Set 0690 Teapot Creamer Bowl

This 3-piece antique tea service by the Gorham Manufacturing Company (Pattern 0690) is a refined example of Colonial Revival design from approximately 1921. Crafted in heavy-duty silver soldered metal, the set includes a teapot with its original bone heat insulators, a creamer, and an open sugar/waste bowl, all featuring an elegant "MRB" interlocking script monogram. The exterior displays a thick, bright silver finish with classic gadroon (rope-style) borders and ornate acanthus leaf detailing on the teapot handle.

Condition Report:

The set is in authentic vintage condition with a bright exterior finish showing light surface scratches and minor "flea bites" consistent with 100+ years of age. Notably, the teapot handle is missing one small securing nail/retaining pin at the upper insulator; while the handle is currently attached, it should be serviced for regular use. The interiors of the teapot and bowl exhibit significant brown oxidation and mineral buildup from historical service. All other components, including the teapot hinge, are tight and fully functional.
