SILVER IS IS AT A 40 YEAR HIGH, AND SHOWS NO SIGNS OF SLOWING DOWN OR GOING DOWN. Silver has blown past $90, and some say, it's on it's way to $200 an ounce or more, so, the longer you wait, the more expensive, it will be to buy Sterling Jewelry.
This is a very cool collectible, original Art deco solid 14k white gold ribbon shape brooch. It has an old mine cut diamond in the center, and 4 green stones, which do not look like real Emeralds, to me, but might be. It was not uncommon to use non mined gemstones, in old pieces, along with real diamonds. It weighs 4.6 grams, is stamped 14k, and was tested. It measures 1.83mm in length, and the filigree is perfet, and undamaged.
I do not polish silver items, as I have found, that most buyers, prefer the original patina, left intact.
