The Pentair Everpure MC2 (EV91612-56) is a commercial-grade water filter cartridge designed primarily for fountain beverage and combination applications. It is an upgraded version of the original MC series, featuring AgION antimicrobial protection to inhibit bacterial growth on the filter media.

Maintenance & Installation

·       Replacement Interval: Pentair recommends replacing the cartridge every 6 months or when the 9,000-gallon capacity is reached. You should also change it if the pressure falls below 10 psi.

·       Sanitary Quick Change: The cartridge can be replaced without tools or exposing internal parts to contamination—simply rotate a quarter turn to remove/install.

·       Initial Flush: New cartridges should be flushed for approximately 5 minutes at full flow before use to remove air and carbon fines.
