This example features a hand painted FEP (final engineering pilot) in the package.  So, a packaged pre-production paint sample.

📦 PROVENANCE & ORIGIN

This figure comes directly from a factory-marked “samples” case that was shipped from the manufacturing facility overseas to a Kenner/Hasbro production supervisor Jerry Palmer for internal evaluation.

The figure has remained in this case since the late 1990s and has been in my possession for the past decade after acquiring the collection from the Palmer estate.

🎨 FIGURE DETAILS

The packaging itself is in excellent condition, but with with one noticeable flaws, the bottom right of the card was cut off for some reason?  This was done by Hasbro or one of their people.  

It is definitively represented as a prototype.
