I've had this chair since the 1990s. It was in perfect working order then, but the motor no longer is working. I don't know why. I haven't investigated.
It moves up and down and back-and-forth, and in every which way flawlessly and smoothly. The burgundy leather on the seat and back are intact with no rips or tears.
Interesting sidenote: you can see a chair exactly like this in the movie Forrest Gump. In the scene where Forrest is getting his magic legs at the doctor when he was a kid this chair is set up in the corner of the doctors office. I got a real kick when I saw that the first time.
The chair has been in my garage and been my sitting chair for many years. But it is time for me to let it go and make more space in my garage.
