Please note that in the early printings, the Oompa Loompas were described and drawn as African pygmies, which was later changed to avoid controversy: this volume does have those original drawings, and I wanted to make sure you knew before purchasing.

Hardcover with dust jacket with several flaws to note. Book is slightly slant. The brown “blank” page next to the cover has been removed (see photo). Dust jacket shows wear and has a tear on the bottom right of cover and a smaller tear on the top of the spine as well as some chipping. There is no other writing or marking. The spine is tight & no missing text pages. Solid readable vintage copy despite the wear of time. See photos for condition.
