Nice 1927 Rumidor brand cigar humidor in copper plate 8 inch tall format. It is 8"s tall and 6 inches in diameter, green felt on bottom. Nice original patina. Made in NYC. Should hold an entire box of cigars. Early "patent applied for" model. No dents or scratches. Looks great! By the way, it's pronounced RUM-A-DOR not ROOM-A-DOR. That little capsule on the inside lid bottom held cotton and was soaked in RUM to impart a RUM flavor to the cigars. The little cap on top could twist to open or close the little holes and let the RUM fumes permeate the container! Major engineering idea that Rumidor sought a patent for in 1927.
