The VOX Starstream Bass Artist HL is built for unparalleled comfort and precision. The lightweight VSS frame is made of resin and, combined with the alder body, achieves perfect body balance and comfortable playability.
At the heart of this innovation is the VOX Headless System, a state-of-the-art bridge mechanism newly designed to optimize tuning stability and simplify adjustments.
Angled tuning knobs: The angled tuning knobs allow for accurate tuning with minimal effort.
When tuning, tension can be applied to each string with minimal effort until each string approaches its desired pitch. Even as each string approaches its desired pitch and the tension increases, pitch adjustments can be made with light force. Meanwhile, within the range where each string is close to its desired pitch, fine adjustments to string tension are possible, allowing for highly accurate tuning. Furthermore, the angled tuning knobs relative to the bass provide an angle that makes tuning easier.

The neck joint features a deep bolt-on construction that maintains playability in the higher positions and transmits string vibrations between the body and neck without loss. It also accommodates technical playing styles that utilize the end positions.
