Scarce Antique Salvaged French Empire Dragon? Griffen? Head Furniture Ornament Decor…. A very unique item. I am including a photo of what google says this is~ It is a mystery to me of what exactly what material this is made of. This creature measures 5”Hx5”Wx2.25” & weighs 1 pound & 3.1 ounces. It was a local estate sale find & the man who owned it was in the army in WWI and traveled the world… that is all I know about this. It appears from the bottom that it fit into something like a furniture piece. It’s pretty cool looking, and once you pick it up and hold it in your hands, your actually surprised by the weight of it.
