The late artisan lived 1959 - 2023 in New Mexico.

He often decorated his beautiful carvings with feathers, shells, pottery pieces, and additional stones.

This does not appear to have any pottery pieces but is otherwise adorned as described, 

   plus wrapped with a thin strip of colorful material (leather? rust-colored).

It measures 3.5” long by 2” tall. It weighs about 5.5 oz. 

Stone is pink-ish in color with white veins.

Beautiful. The nose of the bear has a slightly rough spot, perhaps a flaw or a fall.

Smoke free, pet free home.
