This unusual decorative object is made of cast metal with a gold painted finish. It features a detailed dragon standing next to a boulder with a double sided opening, revealing the hollow interior. I believe this used to be a clock frame, but it now has potential for creative use. The entire piece measures about 6.75" long, 2 5/8" wide, and 5.75" at the tallest point. The circular openings are just over 2" in diameter. A quarter has been included in one of the photos to show scale. The underside of the base is open, revealing the hollow interior.

This item is vintage and shows some indications of age/wear, including some areas of rubbing or loss to the gold painted finish, revealing the silver tone metal underneath. There is some concentrated wear around one side of the circular opening, presumably where the clock face was affixed (see detail photo).
