This 8x10 glossy photograph of John F. Kennedy and Lyndon B. Johnson was originally received by my mother while she was attending the 1960 Democratic National Convention in Los Angeles. At the time, she was working for Carl Albert, who served as House Majority Leader during this period. She kept the photo as part of her political memorabilia and later passed it on to me.
The photograph itself is in excellent condition with strong gloss and no creases or handling wear. The signatures appear to be produced by an autopen, which was commonly used for high‑volume official correspondence and souvenir photographs during the Kennedy–Johnson era. I want to be transparent about that for collectors.
This is a well‑preserved piece of 1960 campaign‑era political history with clear provenance and a direct connection to the Democratic National Convention where Kennedy and Johnson were formally nominated.
