This is a new, full 500-foot spool of Cables Direct Online item 906817, a 14 AWG, 4-conductor (14/4) outdoor-rated speaker cable wound on a heavy wooden reel. The conductors are CCA (Copper-Clad Aluminum) stranded construction, and the cable jacket is a black UV-resistant, waterproof PVC compound rated for direct burial and exposed outdoor installations. With four conductors at 14 AWG, this cable supports dual-channel or bi-wire speaker runs from a single pull, making it suited for permanent outdoor audio installations such as landscape speaker systems, patio or pool-area audio, and commercial distributed audio wiring where a single cable run must feed two speakers. The outdoor-rated jacket resists moisture ingress, sunlight degradation, and the physical abrasion associated with underground or conduit-routed runs.
