The SR7009 is the top-of-the-line all-in-one AV receiver with Dolby Atmos support and a 9-channel amplifier.
The SR7009 features a 9-channel fully discrete power amplifier with a maximum output of 235W. It supports connection to 4Ω speakers, allowing for a wide range of speaker combinations. The preamplifier section incorporates Marantz's current-feedback amplification circuit, refined in Hi-Fi components and high-end AV amplifiers. Furthermore, at its heart lies Marantz's original discrete high-speed amplifier module, HDAM®. This delivers wide range, rich detail, low distortion, and high-speed sound, meticulously reproducing the three-dimensional sound localization, movement, and unprecedented immersion provided by Dolby Atmos®. The DSP and preamplifier now include up to 11.2ch processing Wi-Fi and Bluetooth® functionality, allowing for easy wireless connection to various devices such as smartphones and tablets for convenient music enjoyment. It also features an eco mode that saves unnecessary power while enjoying movies and music, displaying and monitoring power consumption on-screen. In addition to a setup assistant and Japanese-language GUI to guide initial setup, it also includes a smart select function. By saving your frequently used settings to the Smart Select button, you can easily recall and enjoy the same playback environment every time.
Equipped with 8 HDMI inputs and 3 outputs supporting 4K/60p input and output. In addition to simultaneous output to projectors and TVs, it also supports multi-room distribution of HDMI video. Network functionality now supports playback of DSD and AIFF files. It combines sound quality and abundant features befitting a top-of-the-line model.
