"Wallflower in Blook" is a piece that was all about playing with texture and color.
I wanted it to feel full and alive, like a small section of a garden caught mid-bloom. The thick paint and layered brushstrokes were built up slowly to give the cherry blossom branches movement and energy.
It’s not meant to be perfectly detailed—more of an impression of how a garden feels rather than how it looks.
