Superman #184 1966

I just got this book back from CGC. It graded 3.5 but still looks very nice in the new holder.

In 1986 I was a Baseball card dealer and during one of the card shows a guy wanted to trade me his Comic Collection for some baseball rookie cards. I said I was interested so he came back with a comic storage box with 80 Silver Age comics from 1957 to 1969. All the books were in heavy mylar sleeves and I could tell he took care of them! We made the deal and I brought home 80 comics. I was not a comic collector but I looked at each book and then I put them back in the storage box and put it on a shelf in my storage room. Those comics sat on that shelf for 40 years. In January I started to clean out my storage room and there was the box of comics. I went through them carefully and was surprised at how nice and preserved they were. After a great deal of time on eBay and online researching comic books I decided to ship them to CGC for grading. I just got the 1st batch of 25 back.

The 1st 25 books graded from CGC 1.8 to CGC 9.4 and every book looks so beautiful in the new holders. I must say that the whole process of sending 75 books in three batches of 25 to CGC to get graded and encapsulated was very easy! It took 36 business days to get the first 25 back. This was my first time getting books graded and I am very happy with CGC. The grades were pretty much as I expected with some books grading higher and some books grading lower.

I will list the 1st 25 books starting from the bottom grade 1.8 to the highest grade 9.4 over the next few weeks so stay tuned.

I do have a 30 Day return policy.

Any Questions please let me know.
