Be sure to have the cups filled before giving them to guests to achieve the full effect. Or perhaps it’s best they should see what it is they’re drinking from and have the image of that to ruminate on as they sup their tea. Either way you can appreciate how variable the price can be for these tea cup sets.

You could buy them as pairs, or intentionally mix up the 3 cup designs, or maybe just go with whatever inner photograph you find best. It’s certainly not for me to discuss the empowerment of women through porcelain, but I can appreciate the concept behind these pieces and if you wish to buy them I’d look that up a little further. That way once the laughter and shock subsides you’ve an intelligent concept to regale your guests with as they recover their sensibilities.

Titillating conversation pieces for sure whilst also conjuring up associations with Wedgwood & a grandmother at tea- random combination I grant you, but it all seems to work out with some great pieces of contemporary design harnessing well known and traditional forms.
