The image is a painting of an "Odalisque" in the Orientalism style, which was a popular genre in 19th-century French art.  While often attributed to Eugène Delacroix, similar works were produced by artists like A. Aubernet.  The scene typically depicts a concubine in a luxurious harem setting, often with a reclining nude figure and a figure playing a lute.  Such paintings are characterized by their sensuous atmosphere and focus on color and light over strict anatomical detail.

Frame with abrasions , chips and small losses. I have not examined painting out of frame .
