This is a Mitchell 300 reel that has been completely redone to serve many more years of fishing.  These reels have always been very popular over the years  and many are still to be seen on the rivers and lakes everywhere. Most are still working fine but show the wear on the finish. I have done a total of 117 of these over the years and now have a new batch to list. These will be the last I will do as they take much time and now all the materials I use have doubled in price. I have had to raise the price on these because of that. Also, shipping has become more expensive and so I had to increase that some. These reels have been reconditioned to use. I have redone them in some very nice colors of baked on powder coat. These reels have been used worldwide and sold by the thousands. The only color these came in were black or a shade of blue as in the 400 series. If you have a red one on the lake, I'm pretty sure you will have the only one. I have sold 77 of these throughout the country over the years. There is much time put into these and though the paper insert included in the box states it takes from 10-12 hours to complete one, in reality it is anywhere from 12 to 18 or 20 for each reel. Parts are readily available for these even here on Ebay. Also , you can search online as there are many folks selling parts that way. These are set up as they were sold when new with an included extra spool in each box, one shallow and one deep spool. The spool container is included only if shown in the photos. Many of the parts for these are interchangeable from the various years so you may have a 300C with bearings in the spool only and a bushing handle cap. That will be stated in the description for each reel that has that change. Also, please keep in mind these reels are used and may have small marks under the powder coating that may be visible. All have been checked for function as well. Worn parts were replaced with either a new part when needed or a good used part. Each of these are numbered with the number being on the box bottom.
