A Vintage 7" tall Grenadier Guardsman for Buckingham Palace doll in plastic souvenir case. Doll is in full uniform--bright red tunic, black trousers, gold epaulettes, gold buttons, gold cummerbund, gold neck band, sword hanging on side. Uniform includes a tall cap called a bearskin with chin strap. Sleep eyes.
The doll is from my mother LaVerne Hammond's extensive collection of dolls. Her notecard doesn't indicate when she acquired this doll, but most of her other dolls were from the 1970's - 1990's. She passed away in 2006.
