I am unfortunately clearing my late Grandparents house - They had a wide range of interests, a fairly eclectic taste in etc, and were somewhat of a pair hoarders/collectors of all sorts of stuff.
This is a Footprint B.R(M) slotted screwdriver.
Granddad had lots of tools, but his Dad was a builder, and I this may have been from his stock. I dont really know the age, but I am guessing 1950s-70s at some point
Its Brand new from the look of it, with the wax paper wrapping around the blade still there, however unfortunately it looks like it has been stored in the damp - There is some surface rust, and the paintwork on the handle has some cracking. - It is still perfectly usable for work, or could be cleaned up, or even restored or displayed with the nice genuine patina that they have if you wanted - The photos give a good overall idea of its condition in general, but just ask if you want anything more specific.
I am in the middle of sorting out a huge amount of his old stuff - A lot of which is old tools etc, and I cant keep them all, so I will be listing quite a lot over the next couple of weeks - Feel free to have a look at my other listings, and I am happy to combine postage etc where possible if you want more than one lot!
Postage is possible at your own risk of damage - I would rather it was collected ideally to remove any chance of damage - It could be collected from near Walsall in the West Midlands, or from Cardiff, as I travel there for work most weeks (I could probably arrange to meet you somewhere along the route between the 2 with a bit of arranging too)
Any questions, just ask, but I dont know much more about it than that.
