The Vintage 1992 Gateway 2000 Nomad 420SXL Laptop Computer is a rare and collectible piece for vintage computing enthusiasts. This laptop, produced by Gateway 2000, is a prime example of the early days of portable computing technology. The Nomad 420SXL model offers a nostalgic glimpse into the past and is sure to appeal to those interested in retro technology and computing history. This laptop is being sold AS-IS as I do not have the charger cable for it and it will not power on without it. From what I can see, it is in amazing condition for its age. The screen has no visible surface damage or marks. All of the keys, buttons, ports, 3.5" floppy drive, wheels and switches appear to be in working order. It takes a specific 3-pin power adapter which I have been unable to locate. Also note, it is quite heavy (approx. 4lbs) which will affect the shipping and handling costs so keep that in mind. I'm hoping it goes to someone who can get it running again or a collector who will appreciate it.
