2026 Can Am Defender MAX HD11 factory 10.5" touch screen Audio Control Plug & Play Subwoofer and Amplifier Package.  We have worked with multiple Can Am dealers to verify factory subwoofer wiring on the new HD11 Defenders.  We recently had a 26 Defender HD11 MAX in our shop to verify connections, find the factory radio subwoofer output plug type and subwoofer enclosure sizing. The beauty of the new HD11 Defender with the factory 10.5" touchscreen radio screen is the prewiring for a subwoofer is in the rear of the machine next to the battery.  We found the correct 3 pin deutsch connector to plug into the factory subwoofer output plug next to the battery for quick and easy installation.

This subwoofer set up saves money and sounds just as good if not better than the factory Can Am JL Audio subwoofer amp/box.  We have heard the factory Can Am JL Audio set up and though not terrible, this setup sounds just as good and plays a little louder comparatively.  The Can Am JL Audio factory set up does not have any adjustment and seems to be detuned to prevent product issues (we're guessing). This package allows you to keep your passenger side storage area open and will not block the battery cover. This kit also includes a bass level knob to remotely adjust the subwoofer volume independently from the radio screen. 

Where the components are mounted:

Amplifier mounts behind the passenger rear seatback

Subwoofer enclosure mounts under the front driver seat, to keep all storage areas open and not block the battery cover 

Power and Ground wiring will run from the amplifier on the back wall of the machine to the battery

RCA/Signal wiring will run from the amplifier to the factory Subwoofer plug next to the battery

Speaker/subwoofer wiring will run from the amplifier, under the rubber floor mats or under the center drivetrain hump to the subwoofer enclosure under the driver seat

1) Audio Control ACX-300.1 (300 x1) watts RMS mono waterproof amplifier, pre-tuned and ready for installation

1) Audio Control Spike series SPK-10S2 2 ohm 300 watt RMS 10" subwoofer

1) Audio Control 10" subwoofer grill

1) Audio Control ACR-1 Remote Level Control

1) Custom 10" heavy duty, waterproof bed liner subwoofer enclosure

1) Plug and play power & ground harness

1) Plug and play factory Deutsch RCA connector harness

1) Plug and play subwoofer enclosure wiring harness with waterproof disconnect at the subwoofer enclosure 

Things you will need to do for installation:

1) Remove factory rubber floor mats (if equipped)

2) Remove battery cover for subwoofer and power/ground connections

3) Remove passenger rear seat back for amp installation and mounting

4) Run subwoofer wiring under factory rubber floor mats to under the driver front seat

5) Remove factory plastic divider under driver seat.  Cut/trim out (2) inner plastic square mounting points for the divider

6) Trim driver front and rear rubber mats (if equipped) for subwoofer enclosure clearance under driver seat and future removal of rubber mats...may not be needed if the enclosure fits under the seat rails and you don't want/need to remove your rubber mats

Mounting hardware for the subwoofer enclosure and amplifier will all be included with the package.

Plug and play harnesses are all wire meshed for a professional, durable look.  All wiring connections use shrink wrap or heat shrink for waterproof connections.  A waterproof fuse holder and fuse are included in the power harness.

Both the amplifier and subwoofer enclosure are completely waterproof, designed for the UTV environment.  We have installed this exact amplifier and subwoofer combination in over 50 UTVs with no issues

THIS LISTING INLCLUDES the JL Audio RBC-1 remote bass level knob. This level knob plugs directly into the MX300/1 amplifier and gives you the ability to change the level of the sub and amplifier from the front of the machine (or wherever you mount it).
