These beautiful beads are Vaseline Glass beads, and their yellow with green swirl color is a rare color for Vaseline glass. These beads are know for their beautiful transparent glow. They are very old, made sometime in the early 1900s, and their faceted saucer shape is worn from age so their edges are smooth. There is some small scratches and irregularities in their shape, but these aged characteristic only add to their beauty. These were originally made in the Czech Republic, and recently found in Ethiopia.
