Antique Stanley No 5 1/2 Smooth Bottom  Made in USA. Type 11 (1910 to 1918.)  It's in good condition for the age. The japanning is chipped and worn in several places, the tote has been glued together. It has the original blade which is about out of sharpening. The blade lock cap has a small chip out of the corner. These are all shown in the pictures. All in all it's nice rare model with a lot on history
