Brief bio:

Peter Hall was a prominent British textile designer whose work defined the Mid-Century Modern and Pop Art aesthetic of the 1950s, 60s, and 70s. Associated with Chelsea Textile Designers, he is best known for his long-standing collaboration with Heal's Fabrics (a division of Heal & Son), where his bold, geometric, and often psychedelic patterns became iconic, influencing contemporary icons like Mary Quant.

Hall's work is celebrated for its vibrant use of colour and large-scale repeats. Many of his original pieces are now held in the V&A

His work spanned structured, textured patterns of the late 1950s to the vibrant "Pop" and psychedelic styles of the 1960s.

His designs remain highly collectable and recently some of his most famous prints have been reissued by boutique interior design brands.
