So this is a great addition to your toolbox. The magnet works, but the insides need some greese or something. It need to be cranked to open the switch fully, but honestly, it doesn't need to be because the magnet engages after turning it a half of an inch enough to lift a 20lbs chunk of metal.

Either way, if it still works, why fix it. Plus, I didn't want to be responsible for not being able to get it back together or damaging it, so I'll leave it up to you.
