This is a rare, authentic handwritten note signed by Andrew M. Greeley, the beloved author and priest, dated 1981. A unique collectible from a time when personal correspondence with authors was a cherished tradition.

🖋️ Provenance & Story: This note comes from a remarkable collection once owned by a passionate fan who, between 1980–1983, wrote to dozens of his favorite authors. He would send them first edition copies of their books, requesting signatures—and many responded with personal letters like this one. The box contained at least 75 such responses.

Before receiving this box, I had purchased 70–80 signed first editions from the same collector, unaware of the treasure trove of letters he still had. I sold nearly all the books before discovering this incredible archive. In hindsight, I would have loved to pair each letter with its corresponding book.
