Genuine Flow Switch Assembly with 5 ft cable and box-end connectors. Specifically designed for J-400 models manufactured between 2006 and 2009. This switch is a critical safety component that ensures your heater only activates when there is sufficient water flow.

Installation & Troubleshooting
Pro Tip: Before replacing your flow switch, ensure you have proper water flow. Confirm your pleated filter is clean and less than one year old. For those using the ProClarity micro filter, ensure it is less than four months old, especially in hard water areas.
Troubleshooting Steps:
- Verify the circulation pump is moving water properly.
- Test your old flow switch for continuity. When the pump is operating, you should have zero resistance.
- When the pump is not operating, your meter should read Open Line (OL).
- If readings are outside these parameters, it is time to replace the switch. If the switch tests fine, the issue may lie with the circuit board.
