I’ve had this for around 2 years and I only ever used it via the XLR input but unfortunately it had a small accident and now it only works from the top built in (clip of to remove) microphone.
I had the recorder screwed into a magic arm and attached to the side of my camera but it got knocked and it snapped the threads out of the back of the recorder, so it also has nothing to screw it into.
So the issues are …
- When you try and use the XLR input there’s just no sound, it has to be used with the microphones at the top
- There is no screw on the back anymore, just a small hole where the threads used to be
If you’re needing a recorder just to use the top microphone and not the XLR then grab yourself a bargain, it works perfect like this.
Overall the recorder is in good co diction , there’s small scratches and marks on it, I’ve photographed them as best as I can.
The carrying box has one of the hinges snapped, it still closes as it should.
