Features intricate engraving of trains and industrial scenes typical of mid-century railroad bonds

Historical Context:

• Chartered in 1845, the Naugatuck Railroad connected Bridgeport to Winsted, serving key industrial towns.

NOTES: I am not a professional and this comes from my father’s vintage stock and bond collection. Please see photos for condition but given its age, it shows age related toning, foxing, folds & edge wear , cancellation marks and holes but is a beautiful piece of RR history. Kindly ask questions and I will do my best.

Bonds like this one were issued to finance operations and industrial freight services, making it a unique collectible for railroad enthusiasts, industrial historians, and ephemera collectors.
