The nylon facing allows for the noise reduction and durability you look for in a stalking shirt. The DWR finish repels light precipitation and prevents face fabric from wetting out. The hoody has an integrated mesh face mask for easy concealment. The Sitka Apex Hoody's kangaroo style chest zip pocket is low enough that it doesn't interfere with your binocular harness. The interior of the pocket is divided to help with keeping things quiet while stalking. The removable elbow pads come in handy when needing a buffering layer during long glassing sessions.
