This for a very rare piece of British history. It looks like a tourist's book of Westminster Abbey from 1917. Full title is Westminster Abbey 17 Views With Brief Historical Notes. It was published by A R Mowbry in 1917. It has vintage photos of 17 spots around the building with a description on an opposite page. What is even cooler is an inscription by the owner of the book. It is in very light pencil I believe and reads " sightseeing in London on 48 hour leave accompanied by (cant make out) to M.M. April 12, 1918 Louis C(?) Reynold.
The cover of the book is riddled by bug damage and the outer spine is shot. Bu the front cover graphics were missed by the bugs and the pages are still intact. There is some water staining along the top right of most of the pages. It is light brown but doesnt take away from the pictures. A very amazing book in better condition. But still ool in its rough shape.
