This Vintage Tin/Pressed Steel is a detailed replica of the US Air Force FH-205. The Republic F-105 Thunderchief, nicknamed the "Thud," was a supersonic fighter-bomber used by the US Air Force, primarily during the Vietnam War. Designed in the 1950s for low-altitude nuclear strikes at speeds over Mach 2, it became a major conventional strike aircraft, capable of carrying a 14,000lb payload.
Measures 18 1/2” long, 6 1/4” tall (top of tailfin), 10 1/2" wide.
When you press the top lever forward the canopy raises (see pics).
