Selling my 1974 Twentieth Anniversary Les Paul. This guitar is 50 years old, the body in original condition with 50 actual years of aging patina and has survived surprisingly well. The guitar feels very comfortable and worn in, the neck feels great and the body without parts weighs just under 9lbs. It has original T top Gibson pickups and gold vintage hardware Grover’s and old epiphone tailpiece and Gotoh abr The original Fast Frets were very worn so this has just had a full re-fret. There is a mark on the top side of the neck towards the headstock which could have been a crack. It’s had 2 or 3 different kinds of tuners on it, the body finish looks original to me. So a really nicely aged guitar with new frets. Importantly it has period correct T top pickups but the other parts have been changed. Entirely possible to obtain and put those back if tthat’s your desire but it’s great as it is. Also has an original Gibson wiring harness and knobs from 1980s fitted and a lovely vintage and rare Gibson anniversary case. Newer Gibson truss rod cover and back plates.
