The ultimate in wine presentation – this decanting device known is as a Wine Bottle Decanting Cradle . Sometimes there are harmless solids in the bottom of the bottle that you don't want in the glass. Turning the screw precisely tips the cradle, which pours the wine in a very measured, deliberate manner and is designed to leave the solids in the bottle - not in the glass . The candle holder is for a candle which back-lights the wine bottle to detect any sediment during the decanting process. The bottle fits into the cradle for use or display.
