Original 1978 Monaco Grand Prix ticket for the 36th running of the race in Monte Carlo, issued for the Terrasse Miramar private viewing terrace overlooking the famous harbor section of the circuit.

Unlike standard grandstand tickets, this pass granted access to the Miramar Hotel terrace, one of the exclusive vantage points used during the classic era of Formula 1. The ticket itself even notes that the Miramar terrace was not part of the official grandstand allocation, highlighting its status as a private hospitality viewing area during the event.

The race took place on May 7, 1978, at the legendary Circuit de Monaco and was won by Patrick Depailler driving for Tyrrell, marking his only Formula One Grand Prix victory.

The ticket features:

• Bright original orange design with Monaco crest embossing

• Printed for Terrasse Miramar – Monte Carlo

• Original perforation along the left side from entry control

• Authentic period printing with fine micro-lettering in the paper

• A fantastic piece of vintage Formula 1 memorabilia

These Monaco Grand Prix tickets from the 1970s are increasingly sought after by collectors due to the race’s legendary status and the small number that have survived.
