Audi TT 1.8 TFSI 160PS

Hi, and thank you for viewing our Audi TT, which is advertised on behalf of my son’s girlfriend (Ella) following the purchase of a new car.

Ella purchased the car in 2024 from a dealership after an extensive search for a well-maintained 1.8TFSI 160 PS version, as the insurance cost was much cheaper for her being the 160PS version.

She had always wanted to own one and this was low former-owner car with service history and low mileage for the age, so it was the one she had to have and came with a comprehensive warranty from the garage and is in exceptional condition (and still is!).

The tensioner and timing chain have been changed within documented history, along with a head gasket and cylinder head work at 57,000 miles, which, in part, I think is why the car sounds so lovely engine-wise, it's super quiet and extremely responsive to drive.

Gearbox is a manual 6-speed, has no play, and feels like a new car; the clutch was replaced at 84,400 miles with a genuine Audi clutch kit (with receipt).

On the road, the car is extremely smooth and comfortable, with both front suspension shock absorbers being replaced at 89,200 miles and a wheel bearing assembly replacement at 94,731 miles. There are no unwelcome noises, and the car drives incredibly well.

The interior is in amazing condition, and you would think it’s covered less than half the miles. Ella also had a very expensive CarPlay head unit upgrade installed last summer at a local car audio specialist (please see pictures), which looks and works fantastically well.  

The car will be sold with a 12-month MOT as we took it to the MOT garage on Wednesday for a test inspection ahead of sale and passed with no advisories 😊

The car has now covered 113,861 miles, and in the last 12 months, the following work has been carried out.

·      Multiple services, including a service at 110,114 miles

·      Auxiliary belt, and tensioner replacement

·      New upgraded black-out front grill  

·      Maxton Side skirt extensions

·      Maxton front bumper splitter

·      Both front wheel bearings replaced

·      Front Brake calliper refurbishment and painted

·      Audi TT Specific CarPlay stereo professionally fitted

o   The factory stereo will come with the car.

Hopefully, the condition of the car is evident in the pictures, but please accept the occasional blemish, as the car is now over 15 years old. 

You will note in the picture some different wheels; these can be purchased separately by agreement if desired, but Ella had our garage put the original wheels back on for the sale of the car.

You’re more than welcome to view the car in the evenings and weekends. With advance notice, we can arrange for our local garage to display the car on a ramp for your inspection, or she is happy to arrange independent inspections from local garages, RAC, AA, etc., if preferred.

Payment for the car must be made in full via bank transfer or cash on collection to Ella, whichever you prefer.

This is an honest private sale, so no warranty is implied or given, and a genuine reason for the sale: Ella found insurance has dropped for her, so she treated herself to a lovely Audi S5 as her upgrade.
