1911 Stamps OP "officiel" in Perse & French - 1912

Two high denominations from this classic series.

Dear Friends,

I’m posting sets from a beautiful collection of Poste Persane from 1876 to 1925. The collection was originally made by someone who focused on completing sets and, as with all issues from this area, some of the overprints may be questionable and require the eye of a connoisseur. Given the number of variations of overprints, official and unofficial reprints and even discrepancies between catalogues, it is truly a field for specialized collectors and experts, (and sadly, I am not a specialist in this area).

I have posted the lots in good faith; there is no intention to deceive. To help the collectors better evaluate the items, I have used high resolution scans of both front and back. This should help get a better idea of the state of the stamp, type of paper, perfs. and of course, the authenticity of the overprint.

Nearly all of the items have a hinge remnant. I know many collectors avoid soaking, and prefer to cut them short. I have left the remnant whole to facilitate removal. The stamps should be free from any hidden damage or faults (thins, rips, stains) unless otherwise stated.

If you would like more information (higher res. Scan of an individual stamp, perf. count or paper thickness estimation), just send me a message and I’ll be happy to oblige.

Shipping:  I (nearly) always use Chilean certified postage which is reliable and reasonably cheap. I ship to anywhere in the world at a flat rate of GB $3.99. Please add just 70c postage for each additional stamp item you want to combine.

Most items are sent in reinforced or padded envelopes and I'll send or post the Chilean RR tracking number once the item is on the way.

Guarantees:

I would never knowingly sell any fakes or repros (obviously without indicating them to be such). If you do find that any material is not as specified, please let me know and I'll remedy the situation.

Please note that I am not a specialist in this area so the order of the items on the page or the stock card is basically chronological and sometimes arbitrary; it does not imply or guarantee any attributes.

Grades:

Especially on coins, I prefer to give an accurate description and use a big, clear image. I've found that grades tend to be a sliding scale, according the type of coin or stamp in question.

Questions:

Any quezzies, please drop a line. If you need other scans (backs, higher res. etc.), just ask.

And of course, Best Wishes and Good Health to ALL.
