This is a late-production example of the Ref. 5513, produced in the mid-1980s. The dial shows signs of aging, the luminous material, including the hands, has been repaired, and there are noticeable dents on the case side. However, considering it's around 40 years old, it's in excellent condition. The bracelet is Ref. 93150, the clasp code is K (manufactured circa 1986), and the flip case is 580, all original specifications, and it's in excellent condition with no noticeable damage. The original warranty card, with the reference number handwritten, contains a sales record from a duty-free shop in Guam. It also comes with the outer box with the "5513/0" sticker still attached, the inner case, warranty case, Submariner booklet, and anchor tag. The Ref. 5513 Submariner is a long-selling model that was in production for around 27 years, from around 1963 to around 1990. Even though it has the same reference number, it has undergone various specification changes over the years, from the early gilt dial with chapter ring to the polished lacquer bordered index dial in the final period, making it a model with considerable depth. |
