In 2010, this model broke the traditional 36mm diameter shell and changed to a 39mm diameter. Some fans lamented this as a sign of the times, but the larger diameter led to an enlargement of the dial, which further improved visibility, and the adoption of a bracelet made only of solid wood, an original hairspring, and Cal.3132 with a shock-resistant device, made it the best Explorer ever. In 2016, Chromalight luminous material was added to the 3, 6, and 9 indexes on the dial, and the long hand was changed to a length that reaches the second track on the outer circumference of the dial, and production continued until 2020. |
