This model, also called the Speedmaster Reduced, retains the refined ruggedness of the Speedmaster, Omega's signature watch, as a professional tool, but with a reduced case diameter of 39mm to improve its fit on the wrist and a mechanical automatic movement for improved convenience, aiming to be a watch that can be used in the daily lives of more people. From its first appearance in 1988 until production ended in 2009, it was a long-selling model for around 20 years, and it continues to maintain its international popularity as one of Omega's signature models. |
