8510c's test set 50 GHz : 8517A 45 MHz to 50 GHz range with 2.4 mm couplers and no attenuators. And no amp. Some people prefer this setup. You do get more power out of it without the attenuators .

That will get you more gain but cant test high gain amps without an external setup. It will also create more stability I'm told so some prefer it. Choose your own.

I have another test set with attenuators if needed! And both come cald!
