How about an Super NICE edition of Audels 1969 Automobile Guide!

 Up for your consideration is this Original Audel’s 1969 Edition of the New Automobile Guide for Mechanics, Operators, and Servicemen, (copyright 1966) originally by Frank D. Graham. This 723 page manual is in Excellent Plus condition, pages Near MINT.

For those of you who don’t know the original author, Frank D. Graham, was a prolific and eloquent writer of the ever popular and frequently reprinted Audel's guides of various titles. Graham seemed to specialize, however, in subjects related to steam technology and other types of engines. Graham was a graduate of Princeton University, with a BS and MS in Mechanical Engineering and was a licensed marine and stationary engineer with the Stevens Institute of Technology, New Jersey.

As you can see from the pictures, this tome covers all aspects of the Classic Auto from 1954 to 1969. The kinds of info included in this encyclopedia are the normal ones associated with an auto repair manual, like:

Cooling Systems, Gauges, Distributors, Ignition, etc.

With over 27 Chapters, this book will no doubt leave you breathless as to the amount of information contained within. Anything correlating to the auto repair world is in this great index. But that’s just the start……..

This manual would most likely cover these makes of that era: Buick, Cadillac, Chevy, Chrysler, Corvair, Corvette, Dodge, Ford (inc Bronco), Imperial, IHC Scout, Jeep, Lincoln, Mercury, Olds, Plymouth, Pontiac, Rambler, Scout, T-Bird, and Volkswagen

At the start of every chapter, there is a couple of pages of Questions and Answers pertaining to that particular subject, like say…Ignition. Then the author goes into greater details to help you fully understand the theory and workings of that subject. Each subject has pictures or illustrations to bolster what you are reading.
